Review: Maybelline BB Cream

Maybelline New York
Dream Fresh BB

This is one of my favorite products, that is along with Crest Professional White Strips  and Neutrogena Visibly Bright  along with this BB cream these are my beast “natural looking” beauty products. And by that I simply mean that people don’t know that you are doing anything. They just think you’re born that way. Unlike things like my John Frieda hair color. Now, I know that BB Creams have been really popular in Asian for a number of years (although they were invented in Germany) but it seems like they are just recently been discovered by big western brands. Seriously its about time. I bought this at Walmart just before school started, they had a few different brands, but I decided on Maybelline Dream Fresh because I’m pretty fond of a few of their other products.

I have nothing but nice things to say about this BB cream. For most days this is the only makeup I ever wear. And its not even really makeup. Its not as heavy as a foundation, but has more coverage than a tinted moisturizer. Best of all it has SPF 30 so you won’t look like an old woman in a few years. Actually its an eight in one product because it also blurs imperfections, enhances, brightens, adjusts to your skin tone, smooths, hydrates, and has no heavy ingredients.

I will be for sure be buying this product again, even though I wish it was a little cheaper (I bought mine for eight dollars) but, I haven’t seen any brands priced significantly lower, and its less expensive than buying foundation so maybe I’m just cheap. One thing I would love though is if this product came in one shade lighter because in the winter I am super pale and I’m not sure that Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream can adjust that much.

*It does contain one ingredient I’m not sure about though, Titanium Dioxide, for the SPF which kind of reminds me of Essie Penny Talk
