Dress (similar) / Bag / Boots
Okay so this isn’t exactly just a Bohemian Style outfit, because it also has a little bit of a western influence. Kind of like my 1920’s Tribal Style Outfit that mixes together two different looks. Personally I think I did a pretty nice job mixing together these two trends, but really it isn’t that hard because they tend to go together. Bohemian and Western are free spirited and give not only a feeling of youth, but also leave the impression that the wearer is fun and creative. Comfort is a big part of the style but that doesn’t mean that Lazy Day wear is okay. You should still look nice, just in a laid back way. After looking at what I put together, this could also be an outfit for a someone starting out as a hipster, so if that’s your thing then go for it.
- Cowboy Boots, Sole Society – $80 I’ve started to fall in love with cowboy boots. Awhile ago I started with a post featuring cowboy boots and a tribal dress and since then I’ve done many different casual outfits with different western style shoes. I like this particular pair of cowboy boots for two reasons, they have a nice heel and a light color. Of course anything to add a little bit of height is great and the white makes the shoe look a lot more feminine
- Tank Dress, Alice and Olivia – $500 When I did my warm weather outfit I “discovered” Alice and Olivia, I mean I’ve heard of the brand before, but I haven’t really looked at their pieces before. Of course since I liked the leather skirt so well, I had to do another item of theirs, and I went with this tank dress. Its simple and feminine with a hint of design, like the gathered fabric and I love the color. Since it is pretty light you could pair it with a brown leather jacket to giving even more of a Bohemian vibe.
- Leather Satchel, Roots Village – $198 This reminds me of a modern day saddle bag without all the horse. The large hardware and unisex design add to both the Bohemian and Western style and the bag is very durable. Another great accessory to add would be a simple gold necklace to give the outfit a feminine influence.
