I’m leaving for a trip tomorrow, so I couldn’t think of anything better for my toes than this On a Trip mega last nail lacquer by Wet N Wild. I have to say that I’m a huge fan of Wet n Wild, they were in my Drug Store Best nail polishes post, and I wasn’t disappointed in the least by their On a Trip purple nail lacquer. Actually it might even be better than the average Wet n Wild Polish because of of the mega last formula, which really does work.
Since On a Trip is supposed to a salon color, the bottle is shaped a little different. If you’re someone who likes to store your polishes neatly aligned this may cause you a little bit of a problem, but since I just throw them all it a basket it didn’t make any difference to me. The handle on this bottle is so easy to get off, even if you have long nails, a problem I’ve found with some brands. Since it is a salon polish it does have a brush similar to the one used by Sally Hansen Grass Slipper although in that review I wrote that I didn’t like the wider brush, I think I’m starting to get used to it because it does seem to create a nicer finish.
Here’s the results. On a Trip looks exactly the same in the bottle as it does on my toes, something that should, but doesn’t alway happen. I found the formula for this nail polish very easy to apply. I didn’t have any problem with runs or drips and it all went on smoothly. Even though this is a light purple it was very opaque and almost didn’t need a second coat.
Overall I really like this On a Trip nail lacquer by Wet n Wild. Its a nice light purple (if you’re looking for a darker purple check out my LA Colors Morning Glory Review) that will work well on any age. It goes on well and you know that mega last claim they make, well its true because even a few days later my polish looks like its just been put on.
