Overtime an active lifestyle and environmental factors can damage skin’s natural protective barrier, causing it to loose moisture fast. Moisture Rescue Lightweight UV-Lotion SPF 15 is supposed to provide a 24 hour barrier for hydration and UV protection. Although I’ve tried a few Garnier products before and wrote about them, like my Garnier Fructis Conditioner Review, but I’ve never thought of even buying their skin care products but at the Dollar General, remember my beauty haul from DG, it was on sale and then half off of that so I couldn’t passes it up.

The first thing that I noticed about this Garnier lotion is its dispenser. Having one of these is much better  than squeezing it out onto my hand, which sounds like first world problems but trust me its really nice. To use just twist the nozzle and apply daily to the face and neck (I like to apply SPF to my hands as well) before you go out in the sunshine.

As far as the smell goes its slightly nice, not something that you’re really going to notice but when you do it’s pleasant. This is a very light weight lotion and reminds me a little of Neutrogena Oil Free moisturizer, but there is something to note about using Garnier Moisture Rescue. You can’t use too much, just a little dot or else the rest of it won’t absorb and it’ll sit on the top of your face.

Overall I like this lotion fairly well. It has a nice bottle, leaves my face feeling moist and smells nice. The only problem though is that you can apply only so much. That’s something that I hate because if you do over do it, it clump up on your face. For a more expensive lotion I expect better.
