Random things at Shipshewana

Collage of Shipshewana

I’ve already blogged about a ton of different things that you can do in Shipshewana. From shopping, to eating, to just walking around in the two trips that I’ve taken recently to the northern Indiana amish town I’ve done a lot. With that said I think I could spend two more full days getting to the rest of the stuff. Even though I did do a lot of writing about my trip already it seems that I have a few random photos that didn’t really fit into other posts to show you guys.

Starting with a candy shop that was in the Davis Mercantile Building, tree mall, on the very top floor. There were so many different candies available and I planned on getting something, but in the end I didn’t feel like spending my money. I did however spend a quarter on the gum machine on the outside of the shop while I was waiting for everyone else to get done.

I’m not exactly sure why this didn’t make it into my outside stuff in Shipshewana post, but it didn’t so here it is now.  Near some of the shops I went to was this kind of indoor outdoor building and they had music playing. There were both Amish and “english” people there enjoying.

Then on the way into the Shipshewana Yoder’s Meat and Cheese Company  an Amish woman, whose outfit looked extremely hot and uncomfortable, was handing out samples of kettle corn.  On the way out we bought some from her, and I have to say that it was pretty good.
