Review: Loreal Feria Hair Dye

hair dye from kmart

I’m sure that if you’ve read my blog for any length of time, you’d know that I complain about my hair a lot. One thing I can’t complain about though is how few times I have to dye it because it grows so slowly. Which means no roots. Normally I like to use John Frieda Foam Color, because it works amazingly well for me. Unfortunately though when I went to buy a new box, they only had colors that were darker than my natural hair color. Lucky for me though, I found this Loreal Feria Hair Dye to use.

I’ve never liked the packaging on hair dye bottles, I mean do you really expect me to believe that you dyed this pretty model’s hair? More likely photoshop. There were however photos of what your resulting hair color would be depending on the color you started at.

Inside the package were gloves, instructions and mixing ingredients.  After mixing the ingredients it was time to put it in the hair. Although I prefer foam hair color, this Loreal Liquid dye didn’t go on too bad. The best part, I have to say was that unlike a lot of blond hair dyes this one didn’t sting in the least bit, magic I guess.

After dying and drying my hair, the color was a little orange, something that I’ve noticed with Loreal dyes before, but overall not bad, and there didn’t seem to be any damage to my hair. I’ll of course stick with my foam, but if that isn’t available again I’ll be more than happy to rebuy Loreal Feria hair dye. I’ll just need to use some Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Shampoo to tame it down.
