Review: Ban Total Refresh Cooling Body Cloths

wipe deodorant by ban antiperspirant

I’ve been seeing these Total Refresh Cooling Body Cloths that have a “smooth powder finish” around so when I had a chance to try out this wipe I of course went for it. It claims to give instant freshness anytime anywhere  in a convenient way. These ban deodorant products are made to leave your skin feeling soft and refreshed to keep you comfortable all day without a sticky residue.

Even though this is a sample of the Ban Total Refresh Cooling Body Cloths, the full sized product looks exactly like it so I can go ahead and judge. First off I will admit that I like the fact that it doesn’t call this a deodorant, you know that that Clinical Strength thing that Secret does. So it’s not something you’ll feel ashamed using since it seems like a wipe. It’s in a thick plastic wrapping that isn’t easy to just get open until you find the spot where it’s perforated.  The purple isn’t my favorite color, but the writing is easy to see and has all the information you need.

Opening up the  package, by just tearing off a side of course, the smell wasn’t immediately noticeable but when I took a sniff it was a whole lot like baby powder and a little bit of rubbing alcohol. The towelette is quite large and is moist to the touch but doesn’t drip anywhere. When I apply it to my skin the first thing I get is a cooling effect like the Lemon Sorbet Perlier Ice Body Water, and then it dries and leaves my clean feeling. I wouldn’t say there is really a powder feeling after using the Ban Total Refresh Cooling Body Cloths, just dry but not in the skin cracking bad way.

Overall I really like the Ban Total Refresh Cooling Body Cloths, even if I’m not the biggest fan of how they smell. They make my skin feel clean and dry without any weird stuff being left on it afterwards, and my skin actually feels refreshed. Even for sensitive skin I think these would antiperspirant wipes would be just fine, because they didn’t bother my skin at all.
