Review: Shandali UltraSport Travel Towel

When I was first contacted asking if I wanted to review the Shandali UltraSport Travel Towel, I thought it was interesting but didn’t quite get the concept. To be honest I expected a normal towel in some sort of traveling case, so when I received the package and opened it up to reveal a very small and thin towel, as you can imagine I was a little surprised. I decided the best way for me to try it out would be take a shower and see how much it could absorb.

So completely wet I started drying myself off, and the first thing I noticed was that maybe I should have gotten a large because although the medium covers what a man needs to have covered, it needs to be a little wider for a lady, unless you’re like under five foot. Of course if you don’t care about modesty than it won’t matter one bit because this medium size towel had no problem drying me off, and by the looks of it, it could have taken a whole lot more water. After using it I hung it up to dry, and it only took twenty minutes for it to be completely dry. Since it passed the first test I decided that when I went hiking I’d take it along.

Putting this Shandali UltraSport Travel in my bag, was very easy. It’s so small that I could fold it up into a very small rectangle, and just slide it in-between other things in my backpack. Carrying it around wasn’t an issue either because it hardly weights anything. After a few uses I can say it’ll stand up well to wear and tear that you might encounter.

Overall I absolutely love the Shandali UltraSport Travel Towel, so much so that I think I might buy one on my own for my father for his birthday. It has so many uses that are a pain to take a normal towel, hiking like I did, to the beach (this would have been great in Hawaii), going camping, and as a gym towel.
