Revew: Uni 100% Moroccan Argan Oil

I recently reviewed Bargain Argan Oil and although I really liked the the stuff, when I did some research after writing my review. I found out that there are even better options for Argan Oil. Luckily I was given a 100% Pure from Morocco Argan Oil that meets the requirements that most people set, and I’m more than happy to be able to compare the two products side by side. I’ll be going through a few things to look for when you buy Argan Oil and some warnings.

Starting with the packaging Uni Argan Oil gets the first requirement spot on. You’re supposed to have a dark or even blacked out bottle because Argan Oil will break down in sunlight, meaning that you’ll have just wasted your money. The golden orange packaging is pretty, and has all the information you could ask for. I’m not sure if I’m a fan of the dropper (similar to the one in the Valentia Even Glow Serum) but so far I haven’t had a problem with it.

This Argan oil doesn’t have a bad nutty smell but rather a vanilla scent, either one is fine as long as it doesn’t smell perfumed because that means you’re getting additives and it isn’t 100% Argan Oil. I do like thought that Uni’s Moroccan Argan Oil is less yellow, perfect for my blonde hair since I don’t want it becoming coppery. It doesn’t apply heavy, and doesn’t tangle my hair. I only use it for split ends, and I can honestly say it’s really helping them out.

If you’re like me, your first thought is that cheaper is always better but that isn’t always the case. The Uni Argan oil is very well priced and is top grade quality, with the lowest acidity rate on the market and lowest peroxide levels. Within weeks of harvest it’s processed and on the shelf, as well as being certified organic by IMC. Which makes it perfect, especially since I think it actually does a better job than the bargain brand for my split ends (although that one isn’t bad).
