Review: Covergirl Bombshell Intensity Eyeliner

So, I won a P&G gift basket and one of the things inside, that I was quite excited to see was the Bombshell intensity liner from the lash blast line in the color 800 pitch black was a part of it. I’ve been trying out eyeliners lately, and have been looking for a liquid liner that would help me make a permeant switch away from the crayon types.

I’m not the biggest fan of the packaging of this Covergirl product which is too bad because I loved how the lip perfection jumbo gloss balm looked. It’s just a small black tube with cover girl written on it, and in small font the color number 800. To open you have to twist it off, and there’s a seal so the first time it is pretty hard to open. It has a nice felt tip though that I don’t have any complaints about.

Here’s what it looks like on me in swatch form. If you’re thinking that the line isn’t exactly even, or straight, you’d be right but it isn’t because of the eyeliner but instead because I’m just such a pro at doing liquid eyeliner swatches. I remember previously with the EnvyDerm Lash Growth Liquid Eyeliner  I had trouble with it getting smudged before it was completely dry but this Covergirl Bombshell Intensity Eyeliner was dry right after applying it. It also comes off easier, just water and a little scrubbing, no makeup remover needed.

Verdict: The Covergirl Bombshell Intensity Eyeliner is a great non-waterproof mascara. The applicator isn’t that pretty but I do like the felt tip. The color is matte, very black and dries very quickly. It’s so far the best liquid eyeliner I’ve tried.
