Book Review: Reframe

From the GOD We’ve Made REFRAME to GOD With Us
Consuming facts and data about someone does not equal a relationship with that person
Imagine being married and your relationship consisting only of data about your husband or wife.  You may have carefully reviewed boxes of personality profiles , stories and videos, but does that qualify as a relationship?
What about your relationship with GOD?
Author Brian Harding admits that, for many years, he didn’t enjoy a dynamic, life-giving friendship with
God.  I realized that most of the thins I know about God, somebody had told me.”  Harding accepted the challenge to become intimately connected to God, and it changed him forever.
Now his book Reframe challenges you to reframe yourself, God, and the relationship that connects you-and, from there, to embrace irreversible spiritual change.  You are created in God’s image; you have His DNA embedded into your very core,  The world and your life are engineered so that they will not work without Him.  Come and be ruined for anything else but a life-giving connection to the almighty God.
Brian Hardin is the vision and voice behind the Daily Audio Bible, which boasts 74 million downloads and more than 150,000 daily listeners.  Brian is an ordained minister, an accomplished record producer with more than 150 albums to his credit, a respected photographer, and a skillful graphic designer, whose work has been featured in high-profile publications, including TIME magazine.  He is also the author of Passages: How Reading the Bible in a Year Will Change Everything for You.

I think a lot of people go through phases in their belief times of growth and sometimes steps backwards. Reframe is a book to not only reinvigorate your faith but to change your relationship with God. It’s easy to read, either all at once or in parts and is very uplifting. If you like When We Were on Fire or Treasures in the Darkness this is a book to check out.

*I received a copy of this book for review but all thoughts are my own.
