Outfit: Blue Stripes + Blue Scarf

It’s been so warm lately that I’ve almost exclusively switched over to bare legs. Well except for when I’m running late for class and just put on a pair of sweat pants. However that wasn’t the case today, because I didn’t have class until the afternoon. I actually dressed up! For some reason I forgot to take pictures without my jacket on, which makes the look more formal, so I didn’t actually look like I was ready for an interview when I showed up to class.
Coat (on sale!) / Top / Skirt (similar, and similar)  / Scarf c/o (SammyDress Coupons at  / Shoes (on sale)

Coat – I’ve had this coat for awhile, and it’s my go to piece when I’m trying to dress up a look. The double breasted buttons and fitted design just make me feel fancy.

Top – I hate tucking in shirts when I’m wearing high waisted trousers or skirts, so a crop top is the way to go. Since it was for school it’s a longer one, that goes just past my belly button. I picked this one specifically because of it’s t-shirt cut which keeps the skirt from being too formal.

Skirt – Although this skirt isn’t the easiest thing to pair with pieces I love wearing it. It’s super flattering (I know that sounds weird for stripes) and is thick enough you won’t have any lines.

Scarf – I’ve been all about the scarves lately, so of course I wanted to add in this SammyDress one. It’s lightweight sheer, and perfect for tying in different styles.

Shoes – Out of connivence I’m not a heels type of girl for everyday although I would like to be. Something about walking all over campus in them just doesn’t seem fun to me. These shoes are a good compromise, and I love the soft suede material they’re made of.
