In school I always joke about being the “best boyfriend ever” and one of the responses I get back is that I can’t grill so I can’t do it. So when I saw Around the Fire I knew I had to have it. The book starts with basic tools, and styles of grilling as well as many of the basic questions you’ll probably be asking. Around the Fire isn’t just a grilling book though as I discovered, not only is the photography gorgeous but the recipes are fantastic. They’re intricate full meals, and not just your average dad sort of dinners. If you like the Citrus cookbook or Hot Bread Kitchen, you’ll love Around the Fire.
