Review: Pure Goodness Pumpkin Seed Protein


It’s #fitnessfriday. Normally that means me feeling bad about how I haven’t been working out, and haven’t been meeting any of my workout related goals. This week however is different. While I’m not all they way up to doing all the workout stuff I want to do, my diet plan has been working. This “diet” isn’t anything special and mostly consists of not eating sweets, and giving myself smaller portions. The one thing I always worry about is if I’m getting enough protein. While this is important for anyone on a diet, it’s especially important for me since I’m on a diet. 

Alright so this Pure Goodness product comes in a large 16 oz plastic white container. The lid is a twist off kind and around the middle it has a white sticker with all the product information, the Pure Goodness label and on an orange insert on the bottom of the sticker there’s what I like to call “fun facts”. There’s information like this has a 1:1 ratio of Omega 6 & 9, that there are 18 different amino acids and 15 grams of protein. It’s also Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, Soy-Free, Dairy-Free, Vegan and Raw. All of which I love so of course I needed to try it out. 

To use I added one scoop into 10 oz of water (or as a part of a smoothie) and stir. The natural vanilla flavor is fantastic, and not a taste I mind drinking everyday. I love that in addition to protein it has a lot of the vitamins and only 110 calories so it’s a perfect breakfast replacement.
