Outfit: Floral Skirt + Stefilia’s Stone Necklace

Lately the weather has been pretty cool and rainy, but today was sunny and fairly warm so I thought could wear something cute out. Of course since it was cute I figured I might as well take some photos and share with you guys what I wore. I would call it a semi casual look, and for sure something I’d wear to school as well as hanging out with friends.

Necklace c/o / Top / Skirt (super cheap!) / Shoes

Necklace – Okay first of all lets talk about this necklace. A little while ago I was contacted about creating an outfit a piece of Laminar jewelry. If you haven’t ever heard of this stone, don’t worry because I hadn’t either, but after a little research I was even more interested in their pieces. It’s also called Stefilia’s Stone, is basically a mix of calcium and sodium that’s actually quite common but not in the gorgeous blue colors that are only native to the Dominican Republic. Knowing that after looking at a few different things from I ended up deciding on this Flair Pendant which portrays the laminar stone as the seed and the steering sliver on it as the roots. I think it’s a great addition to my jewelry and will look wonderful with a ton of different outfits. Be sure to check out their jewelry shop for your own Sefilia’s Stone piece.

Top – Part of keeping this look casual for me was adding a simple cropped t-shirt in black. It’s comfortable and easy to wear.

Skirt – You might remember my white lace crop top outfit from almost two years where I wore this same floral skirt. Through all that time I’m still loving it because it’s not only flattering for my body shape but the print is so fun.

Shoes – Last but not least are my shoes. As long as it took me to get used to pointed toe shows, I’m now finding myself wearing them quite a lot, because they make my legs look long.

And I thought I’d end this post with an accidental awkward pose.
