Autumn Turtle Neck Sweater Outfit Inspiration

I know I keep saying it but school this semester has been terrible, luckily I’m almost done for the year or else I don’t know what I’d do, you know if I had say three more months to go. There has been one  thing so far that has been in my favor though is the weather! It’s been cool but not below freezing, without snow or too much rain (which I hate to drive in), the perfect weather for sweaters. I decided I could share with you guys my typical Fall / Autumn outfit for this kind of jacket free weather we’ve been having even though it’s mid November. This is something I’d wear to class or on the weekends.

Sweater / Jeans / Scarf / Bag / Shoes (similar and on sale!)

Sweater – In the past I did a guide on wearing a turtle neck sweater, but this time around I wanted a more traditional turtle neck. I love the grey color that this sweater comes in and that the collar is thick and able to be folded down. The slight cropped cut keeps the sweater from being to overpowering.

Jeans – I’m trying to shy away from jeans a bit, because they’re so casual and typical, but I couldn’t help but love this pair. The high waist is comfortable, the skinny boyfriend cut is flattering and the cuffed legs are great for going with boots.

Scarf – Although this is a turtle neck so technically you don’t “need” a scarf I love the layered look that adding one creates. This black and white checkered one ties in the shoes with the sweater and balances out the look.

Bag – While I’ve become a lot more interested in monotone looks I wanted to add a little bit of color so I went with this structured bag. Top handles are my weakness, and the included strap makes it completely usable.

Shoes – Last but not least  are these low profile boots. I was tempted to add in a pair of UGG boots but thought better of it and went with this chunky pair of booties. While I’m personally a girl who loves heels, I don’t love them for my everyday life so I went with the more convenient option.
