I’ve tried a lot of subscription boxes. Some are great (like the Popsugar Must Have Box) and others not so much (like the BoxedWingman Date Night Box), which is why I love sharing the subscription boxes with you guys so you can be sure to avoid the bad and know which boxes are good. So on that note I want to introduce you to my latest subscription box the TanMeBox. It is a little different than most subscription boxes because it is a one at a time box that you can buy as you need it instead of being automatically charged each month, and each of the products will be the same each time. It’s kind of like a tanning essentials box. They offer three different sizes ranging from prices of $62-$82 and I was sent the midrange box for an Instagram post (they aren’t associated with this blog post in any way) and promptly went away at trying it.
Inside my box contained two kabuki brushes, gel self tanner, bronzer spray and shimmer bronzer. I thought the box was adorable, but actually had one of the products spill during shipping, it almost looked like one of the lids hadn’t been screwed on tight enough because nothing was broken but I was for sure missing some product from the bottle.
First off I was immediately impressed with the brushes. I’ve tried out self tanning products before and application was always the worst part. These brushes are soft and easy to use. As for the products I was immediately impressed with the fact that these didn’t smell bad and are organic. While I was a bit worried it’d turn out too dark it ended up looking great.
Overall I really like this TanMe Box. It is a little expensive but the products inside are great and I love that it comes as a full set. While I’m not always into being tan it’s really nice sometimes and that’s what this set is good for.
